Rain And Thunderstorms Likely In Eight Districts In Next 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for eight districts of Odisha, forecasting light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning and thunderstorm.

According to the bulletin issued at 2:10 Pm today, rain with thunderstorm and lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Kendujhar, Nabarangpur, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Mayurbhanj and Jharsuguda districts during the next 3 hours.

The weather office has advised residents to stay alert to changing weather conditions and take necessary precautions for their safety.People have been urged to avoid open spaces, trees, and electricity poles during thunderstorm and lightning activity
