Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that light to moderate rain or thundershower with lightning is very likely to affect some parts of Puri, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar City), Nayagarh, Jajpur, Cuttack (including Cuttack City) and Dhenkanal districts within the next three hours from 9.30 PM today.
The weather agency has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning for the abovementioned districts.
Further, it has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
