Bhubaneswar: After two days of intermittent rain, a change in the weather condition will happen from today as the depression over Bay of Bengal weakened into a well-marked low pressure.
“The depression over westcentral Bay of Bengal moved east-northeastwards and weakened into a well-marked low pressure area over the same region. The well-marked low-pressure area is likely to persist over the region for next 24 hours and weaken gradually thereafter over the Sea,” the IMD said.
Under its influence, light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places in Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri on December 22. Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Koraput, the IMD said.
Cloudy weather prevailed over several parts of coastal Odisha including twin city-Cuttack and Bhubaneswar on Sunday morning.
