Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued a nowcast warning for three districts of Odisha, forecasting light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning over the next three hours.
According to a bulletin issued at 2.30 pm, one or two places in Puri, Khordha and Kendrapada districts are likely to witness light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning.
The weather office advised residents of the affected districts to remain alert and keep a close watch on changing weather conditions.
People have been urged to take necessary precautions and plan their activities accordingly to ensure their safety.
