Rain To Continue In Odisha Till September 16: IMD

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow Warning for several districts in Odisha, advising residents to be aware of impending weather conditions. A low-pressure area is expected to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty surface winds reaching 30-40 kmph.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely to occur in Kalahandi and Nabarangpur districts. Additionally, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are predicted in 25 districts, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri.

On September 15, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are expected in districts including Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Puri, Khurda, and Nayagarh.

Similar weather conditions are predicted for September 16 in districts such as Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj
