Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur across Odisha with heavy to very heavy spells in some places over the next five days.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, and Boudh during the next 24 hours, the IMD has warned and issued an orange alert.
Similarly, the IMD has warned that heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Rayagada, Khurda, Puri, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Koraput, Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, and Gajapati during the next 24 hours and has issued a yellow alert.
In its forecast for Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood during the next 24 hours, the IMD has forecast that rain or thundershower would occur towards the afternoon or evening Maximum and Minimum temperature is very likely to be around 34°C and 26°C respectively.
