Puri: The renovation work of the Ratna Bhandara of the Shree Jagannath temple has been completed, paving the way for the inventory process to begin soon. The inventory is expected to be completed by the end of October, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan said.
The counting and transfer of hundis (donation boxes) are expected to be completed by October. A resolution will be issued for the transfer of hundi. Later, Dhadi Darshan will be implemented after the approval of the Chief Minister, he added.
In a review meeting held today, officials discussed various projects related to the temple, including the Parikrama project, conservation of five ponds, Puri traffic alleviation, Pramod Udyan and Gurukul project, Sevayat’s housing project, and SJT’s staff quarters. Deadlines have been set for the completion of these projects, and a special team has been formed to oversee the work.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Puri District Collector, and other officials.
