Bhubaneswar: The Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhubaneswar, will conduct a spot admission session on August 31 to fill vacant seats in its four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the 2026-27 academic session.

The institute completed the third round of ITEP admissions on August 20. However, a few seats remain vacant across different programmes. These seats will now be filled through the spot admission process based on merit, NCET-2026 scores and the preferences submitted by eligible candidates.

According to a notice issued by RIE Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, candidates eligible to participate in the spot counselling must have registered on the institute’s ITEP admission portal, paid the prescribed registration fee and secured a valid score in NCET-2026.

Candidates seeking admission through the spot process must report physically at RIE Bhubaneswar by 11 am on August 31.

They have also been advised to carry all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification during the admission process.
