Bhubaneswar: One person was killed and three others sustained injuries in a tragic road accident at Khallikote in Ganjam district on Tuesday.
The mishap took place when a speeding Bolero hit a bike and a scooter. As a result, the biker died on the spot while a couple and their child travelling in a scooter sustained serious injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Alok Mallick of Belpadar village under Kodala police limits.
Earlier on the day a minor boy was killed when a sand-laden truck fell off a bridge in Odisha’s Dhenkanal on Tuesday. The incident occurred near Santhapur village under Gondia police limits of the district.
