Bhubaneswar: As many as two persons were killed and several others were injured in a road accident near Haradkhola Chowk on the Sonepur-Balangir National Highway (NH 57).
According to reports, the mishap occurred when the driver of the band party vehicle carrying them allegedly lost control of the vehicle.
The identities of the deceased have not been identified so far. All the injured have been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Sonepur.
Upon being informed, police have reached the accident site and launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
