Bhubaneswar: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Cuttack earned kudos for rescuing a passenger who had gone missing after falling from a moving train.
As per reports, the missing person, identified as Sonu from West Bengal, was travelling on the Yesvantpur-Howrah Express when he fell off the train between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
The RPF sprang into action after receiving a complaint from Sonu’s wife, who was worried about his safety. A search operation was launched immediately, and the RPF team managed to locate Sonu near the Kathojodi river bridge, where he was found injured and stranded.
The RPF personnel rushed Sonu to the SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment. His wife has expressed her gratitude to the RPF team for rescuing her husband and rushing him to SCB Medical College and Hospital.
