Rs 4L Aid Declared For Family Of Infant Who Died During Treatment At Capital Hospital

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced a compassionate of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the family of Ayushman Sahu, who died while undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar today.

According to reports,  Ayuhsman, the one-year-old son of Asish Sahu, was rushed to the hospital at around 3:00 am. The doctor on duty prescribed some medicines and an injection. He allegedly died soon after being administered the injection. Following his death, tension ran high at Capital Hospital, with his family members alleging medical negligence and administration of wrong medication led to the death of the child and demanding stringent action against the on-duty doctor.

Upon being informed, the Chief Minister expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family of Ayushman of Hatiasuni Nagar in Bhubaneswar and conveyed his heartfelt sympathies during this difficult time.
