Bhubaneswar: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to embark on a three-day visit to Odisha beginning August 13. During his stay, he will meet Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati and attend a major event in Cuttack.
According to senior RSS functionary Sumanta Kumar Panda, Bhagwat is expected to arrive in Bhubaneswar on the evening of August 13. He will be accommodated at the Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti office located in the Mancheswar area.
On August 14, Bhagwat will serve as the chief guest at the Gaudiya Vaishnavism Sammilani, which will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack. Later that evening, he will visit the revered Jagannath Temple in Puri. Following the temple visit, Bhagwat is scheduled to meet Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati at Govardhan Peeth.
The RSS chief is slated to conclude his Odisha visit and return on August 15.
