Bhubaneswar: A Special Vigilance Court in Cuttack on Friday sentenced retired Divisional Manager, Kendu Leaf, Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC), Bolangir Madan Mohan Parichha to two years rigorous imprisonment (RI) and fine after convicting him for corruption.
As per an official press release, earlier, Parichha was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance under section 13(2) read with 13(1)(e) of PC Act, 1988 for possession of disproportionate assets (DA).
The anti-graft agency will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Parichha following his conviction.
