Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department has sought a status report on the matter of Ruchika Mohanty suicide case of BJB Autonomous College.
Bishnupada Sethi, Principal Secretary of the department, in a letter to Bhubaneswar DCP yesterday had asked him to submit a present inquiry status report by today.
Ruchika had reportedly committed suicide in her hostel room on BJB College campus. Her body was found hanging in the hostel room on July 2 this year.
