Bhubaneswar: SAI International School proudly hosted the grand launch of SAI Odyssey 2025, celebrating the creativity, intellect, and dedication of its students. The event was graced by Tanaya Patnaik, Executive Director of the Sambad Group, who joined the school community as the Chief Guest to commemorate this landmark occasion.
The programme commenced with a soulful performance by the SAI Choir, setting a harmonious and inspiring tone for the morning. The audience was warmly welcomed, and the vision and legacy of SAI Odyssey were introduced, highlighting the initiative’s commitment to fostering innovation, critical thinking, and holistic learning.
A significant highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of students responsible for producing the school’s diverse magazines: SAI Arthashastra, SAI Vistarika, SAI Chakraviyuh, and SAI Aiteehya. These publications reflect the school’s wide-ranging intellectual pursuits in economics, career guidance, politics, and culture, serving as a testament to the creativity, diligence, and vision of the young SAIoneers.
The book launch and certificate distribution recognised the tireless efforts of the student editorial teams.
In her address, Tanaya Patnaik said, “It is inspiring to witness the passion, creativity, and dedication of the students at SAI International School. Initiatives like SAI Odyssey provide a platform for young minds to explore, innovate, and express themselves, shaping them into future leaders. While Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be a powerful tool to assist in almost everything, it can never replace the originality and creativity that come from one’s own mind. I urge the younger generation to nurture their ideas and imagination, and also to be mindful of their digital habits by staying away from the distractions of excessive social media use.”

“Creating SAI Arthashastra gave me a chance to explore economics in depth and present ideas creatively. It was an enriching learning journey,” said Pratichi Sathpathy, Class X, SAI Arthashastra.
“Being part of SAI Aiteehya helped me appreciate our cultural heritage and develop my research and writing skills. It was a truly inspiring experience,” shared Soham Mohanty, Class X, SAI Aiteehya.
“Working on SAI Vistarika allowed me to analyse current issues and present them thoughtfully. Collaborating with my peers made the process even more rewarding,” said Shlok Singh, Class XII, SAI Vistarika.
“Contributing to SAI Chakraviyuh challenged me to think critically about political and social topics, and I’m proud of what our team achieved,” shared Alokrita Mishra, Class X, SAI Chakraviyuh.
