Puri: Internationally renowned sand animator Manas Kumar Sahoo has created sand animation film ahead of the inauguration of Srimandira Parikrama Prakalpa.
The short 5 minute 30 second animated film shows the Parikrama project perfectly. It includes the reason behind the project and shows how heavy crowd of devotees crowd near the temple creates problems forcing devotees to stand for hours in the scorching sun for darshan of the trinity.
Sahoo takes 15 hours to make this 5 minute 30 second sand animation film.
Keeping in mind devotees’ problem, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik designed the Srimandir Parikrama project which includes several facilities like Sri Danda, Sri Setu, AC corridor, toilets, parking lot, and beautification of the temple premises.
The entire process is depicted through sand animation by international sand sculptor Manas Sahoo.
