Bhubaneswar: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a magnificent sand sculpture of Goddess Durga on Puri Beach to wish Team India good luck for the Asia Cup 2025 final against Pakistan in Dubai tonight.
The 6-foot-tall artwork, made with nearly five tons of sand, features Maa Durga showering blessings on the Indian cricket team, symbolising national unity, cultural pride, and sporting spirit.
The sculpture incorporates 250 intricately carved sand balls, representing strength, teamwork, and collective aspirations of millions of cricket fans across the nation.
Pattnaik’s sand art is a heartfelt tribute to Team India ahead of the highly anticipated match.
