Cuttack: Over 250 House Surgeons of SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) in Cuttack have threatened to cease work from tomorrow, following their face-off with the Nursing staff of the hospital.
The decision has raised concerns about potential disruption to healthcare services at the State’s premier medical college.
In a show of solidarity, medical students at SCBMCH have rallied in support of the house surgeons, highlighting the ongoing conflict.
Earlier today, both House Surgeons and Nursing staff held separate protests outside the Hospital Superintendent’s office, exchanging slogans against each other.
The House Surgeons have vowed to continue their strike indefinitely until their demands are addressed, according to reports.
