Jharsuguda: Lapse in security arrangements has come to light during Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s recent visit to Jharsuguda. A viral video shows an unidentified drone crashing near the Chief Minister as he was about to enter the Jhardeswar temple.
The incident occurred despite tight security arrangements in place. The Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari were reportedly startled by the sudden crash. However, the Chief Minister’s program continued uninterrupted after the Personal Security Officers (PSOs) and police chased away the drone.
It is alleged that the drone was flown to capture pictures, but questions are being raised about how it was allowed to fly over the Chief Minister’s head, compromising his security.
