Servitor Falls From Rukuna Rath, Sustains Head Injuries

Bhubaneswar: A Lingaraj temple servitor was injured when he fell from the Rukuna Rath during charmal binding in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

The injured servitor has been identified as Jatia Bhoi. He has reportedly sustained head injuries and minor cuts. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.

Upon being informed, Zone-2 ACP and Lingaraj Police personnel reached the scene and met the injured servitor.

Meanwhile, the incident has raised concerns amid Ashokashtami preparations.
