Jajpur: Several passengers were injured after a tourist bus from Uttar Pradesh overturned on National Highway 16 near Sahapur under Panikoili police limits of Jajpur district in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Reportedly, the passengers were returning to Uttar Pradesh in the bus after the darshan of Lord Jagannath at Puri. Suddenly, the bus lost control and overturned.
On getting information, Panikoili Police rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers with the help of locals. They were rushed to the district headquarters hospital and a probe was initiated into the matter.
