Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police on Friday busted a sex racket operating from a massage parlour in the Satyanagar area under Kharvel Nagar police limits of the city.
Police have rescued four sex workers and detained two youths in this connection.
However, the pimp operating the sex racket has managed to flee the spot.
Though police had information of a sex racket operating from the massage parlour it lacked credible evidence to take action.
According to reports, today Commissionerate Police sent their man as a decoy customer to the massage parlour. A deal was struck and the sex workers were asked to come to the massage parlour.
After the arrival of the sex workers at the massage parlour Commissionerate Police raided the parlour in the afternoon. While four sex workers have been rescued, two youths have been detained.
The operator of the sex racket has, however, managed to escape.
