Sex Racket Busted In Patnagarh; Sex Worker Rescued, 2 Youths Arrested

Balangir: Police have busted a sex racket operating in Kadopada locality of Patnagarh town in Balangir district. While a Bengali young woman has been rescued by the police during the raid, two young men have been arrested.

The sex racket was operating from a rented house in Kadopada for quite some time.

The arrested young men have been identified as Panjha Meher of Badapada and Sampad Podha of Padhel village.

“At around 8.00 PM on Thursday, we got reliable inputs about the sex racket operating from a rented house at Kadopada.  Our team raided the place. We rescued a young woman and arrested Panjha Meher and Sampad Podha. Meher and Podha had got the young woman from Balangir railway station and had engaged her in immoral activity,” informed Jyotirmaya Bhukta, SDPO, Patnagarh.
