Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has appointed Siba Prasad Samantaray as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC).
According to a notification issued by the Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Department on Wednesday, Samantaray, former Chief Project Director (Bridge Works) of the East Coast Railway has been appointed as the CEO of BMRC for a period of one year from 1st August 2023 to 31st July 2024.
Similarly, Prasanna Kumar Sarangi, Special Secretary in the H&UD Department has been appointed as General Manager (Administration) of BMRC with immediate effect until further orders, the notification stated.
