Regional Chief Conservator of Similipal and  Field Director of Similipal Tiger Reserve Prakash Chand Gogineni made this announcement.

According to Gogineni, the park will remain closed until further notice. The situation will be reviewed, and tourists may be allowed to enter the park once the weather improves. Gogineni in a notification said that the exact date of reopening will be notified and published later.
