Six Arrested For Robbing Rs 2.5 Lakh At Gunpoint In Keonjhar

Bhubaneswar: Six robbers have been arrested for looting Rs 2.5 lakh from a petrol pump employee in Kachanpur village, under Champua police station limits of Keonjhar district, on Sunday.

According to reports, the group of robbers looted Rs 2.5 lakh in cash at gunpoint from the employee on the night of July 3.

After receiving information, the police launched an investigation into the matter.

The police have apprehended all six robbers and recovered Rs 50,000 in cash.

The police have also seized seven mobile phones, three two-wheelers (two scooters and one bike), and a bus in Jharkhand in connection with the crime.

Further investigation into the matter is going on.
