Bhubaneswar: A six-month-old girl, who was critically injured following a bee attack on Saturday, breathed her last while under treatment at a hospital in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Ambika, daughter of Tikiram Majhi, a native of Phuljhari village under Jharigaon block in Nabarangpur.

According to reports, Tikiram, his wife Tula, and their three daughters were attacked by a swarm of bees on Saturday while the family was collecting mahua near their house. All members of Tikiram’s family, including his youngest daughter Ambika, were critically injured in the bee attack.
