Bhubaneswar: In a surprising incident, a scooter owner discovered a baby snake in the dickey of his vehicle at Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar.

Sujit Giri, the scooter owner, had stopped at a medical store to purchase medicine and opened the dickey to store the medicine, only to find the reptile inside.

Shocked and frightened, Giri immediately contacted the snake helpline, and a team of snake catchers arrived promptly to rescue the snake. After safely capturing the reptile, they released it into its natural habitat.

There is increased snake activity, usually during the monsoon season, which is a breeding time for many species of snakes. The snake helpline services played a crucial role in ensuring the safe rescue and release of the reptile.
