Sonepur: Residents of Chadeipank village near the Ulunda Forest Range in Sonepur district are terrified since they spotted a leopard roaming in the area on Monday morning.
Terrified over the unusual incident, most of the villagers remain indoors and do not venture out unless it is extremely necessary.
After the villagers brought the incident to the notice of the Forest department, personnel from the Ulunda Forest Range set up a camp near the village and tracked the movements of the leopard.
It is assumed that the leopard ventured into the area from the nearby forest.
