Special Forces Deployed In Satkosia To Safeguard Tigers

Bhubaneswar: In a significant move to bolster tiger conservation efforts, a Special Tiger Protection Force has arrived in Satkosia to safeguard the big cat reserve, as mandated by the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA).

This marks the second such deployment in the state, aimed at protecting the reserve and combating poaching activities. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), wildlife, Susanta Nanda welcomed the force and wished them success in their mission.

Nanda acknowledged the challenging task ahead, stating that the soldiers will face a difficult and arduous journey in the coming days. The deployment is a crucial step towards ensuring the safety and preservation of the tiger population in Satkosia.

The move will ensure a safer habitat for the majestic species.
