Staff Of Aided Educational Institutions To Get 15 Days Casual Leave Annually

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced 15 days of casual leave per annum for the employees of all government-aided educational institutions in the state and paid maternity leave of 180 days for women employees.

During the visit of 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian to various districts, proposals were received from the employees of aided educational institutions in different areas. After a thorough discussion, the CM has approved the proposal.

This will benefit about 33,420 employees (teaching and non-teaching) working in 2560 high schools, 940 UP schools, 39 Sanskrit tolls and 138 Madrasas in the state.
