Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet has decided to provide a piece of government land measuring around 5 decimal at Brahmaniput mouza to Lamtaput Degree College in Koraput district on a lease basis for the construction of a building.
The government land will be provided to the college without any premium or incidental charges, said Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena. The press note issued by the State Government noted:
“The State Government have decided for sanction of lease of government land measuring 5 Decimal in Brahmaniput under Machhakund Tahasil of Koraput district in favour of Lamtaput Degree College, Lamtaput on free of premium and incidental charges basis for the construction of the College building.”
“The College authorities shall have to pay annual ground rent at 0.25% of the market value of the land and cess at 75% of the annual ground rent for such lease.”
