Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Friday effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre. A notification issued by the GA & PG Department stated that Bishnupada Sethi, Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department with additional charge of Chairman, Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd, is appointed as Officer on Special Duty, General Administration & Public Grievance Department.
The notification added that Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Chairman, Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd, Bhubaneswar. “The additional appointment of Bishnupada Sethi as Chairman, Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd shall stand terminated from the date Vishal Kumar Dev takes over,” the notification read.
Aravind Agrawal, Director, Social Welfare, Women & Child Development Department with additional Charge of Managing Director, Mahila Vikas Samabaya Nigam and Director, Rural Development is appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department vice Bishnupada Sethi, transferred.
Agarwal is allowed to remain in additional charge of Director, Rural Development, the notification further said.
