Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) Managing Director Sudhanshu Mohan Samal spearheaded a strategic review session, joined by Functional Directors, to assess performance and chart future growth.
Samal engaged in a comprehensive virtual interaction with Regional Managers (RMs) across various locations, assessing mining operations and strategizing for future growth.
During the review meeting, Samal emphasized the importance of anticipating and addressing emerging challenges through proactive planning. He urged the Regional Managers to adopt innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and optimize mining operations.
Samal also encouraged Regional Managers to develop cutting-edge strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
Besides, the MD also interacted with Finance and HR teams at the Head Office and stressed the need to synchronize departmental objectives with OMC’s long-term goals. He too encouraged the Finance and HR teams to prioritize initiatives driving sustainable growth, employee development, and operational excellence.
Moreover, OMC MD Sudhanshu Mohan Samal assessed HR initiatives from past years, focusing on optimal manpower utilization and capacity building. He advised aligning employee development with organizational objectives and linking employee growth to organizational success.
MD Samal stressed the need for in-depth forest studies and proactive environmental stewardship to strengthen OMC’s efforts toward sustainable growth and operational excellence by leveraging insights to guide future projects.
