Bhubaneswar: The fourth phase of the first installment of money under Subhadra Yojana, which was scheduled to be disbursed on December 25, has been put on hold for the time being, as informed by Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday.

Speaking to the media, Deputy Chief Minister Parida explained that the delay is due to the ongoing verification process of the beneficiaries.

“The release of the fourth-phase money for the first installment, scheduled for December 25, has been put on hold because the verification process is still underway,” said Deputy Chief Minister.

While the Odisha government had initially planned to release the funds on December 25, the verification process has caused the delay.

Deputy Chief Minister Parida urged people to use the Subhadra Grievance Portal to report any issues they are facing. Additionally, she mentioned that Revenue Inspectors (RIs) are conducting field verification, and Anganwadi workers are visiting villages to ensure proper verification.

“Especially those with land-related issues or discrepancies in their bank and Aadhaar details have been temporarily excluded from the list. The verification team is working to resolve these issues, and beneficiaries are encouraged to submit their correct details to the Subhadra inquiry team. Additionally, people can submit a letter explaining the details of their rejection to the block office,” further said the Deputy Chief Minister.
