Subhadra Yojana: New Beneficiaries To Get Money On Jan 22

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced that financial assistance under the Subhadra scheme will be credited to the bank accounts of newly registered beneficiaries on January 22, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on X.

The scheme provides Rs 5,000 in direct financial support to women, aiming to empower them and strengthen household incomes.

Initially, the disbursement was set for January 18, but officials revised the schedule for proper verification and inclusion of eligible women. Around 4,57,681 women across Odisha will benefit, including newly registered women, reinstated beneficiaries, and those added during grievance redressal hearings.
