Puri: On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, internationally renowned sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik created a special sand sculpture on Puri beach as a tribute to doctors for their selfless service and unwavering dedication to humanity.
Pattnaik’s latest creation has drawn appreciation from netizens and art lovers, with many praising the artist for using his talent to highlight the noble profession of doctors.
Through sand art, Pattnaik has conveyed the message of Doctors’ Day while honouring the dedication, service, and humanity of doctors.
Taking to his X handle, Pattnaik wrote: “Happy Doctors’ Day! On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, my sand art at Puri Beach.”
Every year on July 1, National Doctors’ Day is observed in India to honour the legacy of eminent physician, freedom fighter, and former West Bengal Chief Minister, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy and to recognise the contributions of the medical community.
