Balasore: A violent clash broke out between the supporters of two Sarpanch candidates at Paunskuli under Singla police limits of Balasore district on Saturday.
Reportedly, the second phase of the panchayat polls had been held at Paunskuli yesterday, however, an argument broke out between the supporters of two Sarpanch candidates over some unknown issue today.
The argument escalated into a fight and both the groups started chasing and attacking each other with sticks. On getting information, Singla Police reached the spot and tried to pacify the situation.
