Bhubaneswar: As part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva – 2026’ campaign initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, a special cleanliness drive and Shramdaan (voluntary labour) programme was organised by the Finance Department at the Lok Seva Bhawan premises on Tuesday.
Senior officers and employees of the Finance Department working at Lok Seva Bhawan participated enthusiastically in the programme. They collected waste from the premises and actively took part in the cleanliness drive.
During the programme, the officers and employees also took a Swachhata pledge, committing themselves to keeping their surroundings clean and making cleanliness a regular habit in their daily lives.
On the occasion, it was stated that the campaign would inspire people to contribute towards fulfilling the vision of building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ through a Clean India and create greater awareness about their social responsibilities.
