Bhubaneswar: A shocking discovery was made at a rented room in Bramheswarpatna near Ravi Talkies Square in Bhubaneswar, where a tantric is suspected to have practised black magic.
Upon inspection, a plethora of suspicious materials, including bones and a blood-stained pot, Puja materials, wood, and ghee for yajna were found.
Four earthen pots with flowers were seen placed in each corner of the room. A 5-ft-long and 10-feet deep ditch in the middle of the room was also found, which was suspected to have been used for Yajna.
A crowbar, vermilion, red clothes, a trident (Trishul) and photos of various Gods and goddesses were there in the room.
The house showed signs of intense smoke, blackening the walls and roof, indicating regular worship and yajna. The house owner grew suspicious and asked the tantric to vacate. But, the tantric threatened the owner to eliminate him by applying black magic.
Before the owner could report the matter to the police, the tantric fled the scene. The Commissionerate Police have launched an investigation, but the tantric’s identity remains unclear as he is currently absconding.
