Bhubaneswar: A 35-year-old theatre artist was found hanging from a tree in Dasapur village under Golamunda police station in Kalahandi district, on Saturday
The deceased theatre artist has been identified as Jhaja Saah, a resident of Kulrubhata village.
According to reports, Jhaja had come to Dasapur village with his team to perform a play. However, he went missing during the performance, and his body was later found hanging from a tree.
The cause of his death is still unknown. While some suspect foul play, others believe he might have taken his own life. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and are investigating the incident.
Notably, Jhaja was married in Dasapura village but he had been separated from his wife for the past five years.
