Bhubaneswar: Thieves allegedly broke into a foreign liquor shop at Bijmara under Kalampur police station in Kalahandi district on Sunday night and made off with cash worth Rs 10 lakh.
The stolen cash was scheduled to be deposited at the liquor corporation on Monday.
Upon being informed, the Kalampur police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Dharmagarh visited the crime scene to oversee the probe.
The police are working to identify the culprits and recover the stolen cash.
