Bargarh: The Bargarh Town Police have solved the gruesome murder case that shook the Ghulipali area, with the arrest of three persons. All the three accused have been produced in court following their arrest.
The victim, 26-year-old Chandan Kumar Raut, was found with his throat slit on the roadside near Hanuman temple in Ghulipali on January 3. During the course of investigation, three accused, Sumit Suna, Suman Urma and Abhishek Patra, were arrested in connection with the case. A knife, a mobile phone and a car used to commit the crime have been seized from the accused.
The police investigation revealed that the murder was a result of a love affair. Bargarh Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Padarabindu Tripathy informed the media that the accused have been arrested and probe is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the murder
The police have taken swift action in the case, and the accused have been sent to court.
