Balasore: Three persons were injured after a car they were travelling by skidded off the road and plunged under a culvert near Talanagar on National Highway No. 16 in Odisha’s Balasore district on Thursday morning. The identity of the injured is yet to be ascertained.
According to reports, a couple and their two children from Kharagpur in West Bengal were on their way to Puri for Jagannath darshan when the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels and it plunged under a culvert on National Highway No. 16.
Local residents rescued the injured and informed the police about the incident. The police rushed the injured to Soro Community Health Center where their condition is said to be stable. Tire police have towed the car to the police station and launched an investigation into the mishap.
