3 Injured As Pvt Security Agency Guard’s Rifle Fires Bullets Accidentally

Sundargarh: In a freak mishap at an ATM at the Weekly Market under Rajrangpur police limits in Odisha’s Sundargarh district, three people, including a woman, were injured bullets were accidentally fired from the security guard’s rifle.

According to reports, some people had queued outside the ATM to withdraw money on Thursday when the guard downed the shutters for refilling the ATM machine with cash. Soon after the guard took out the trunk loaded with cash from the security van, his rifle accidentally fired several shots injuring three.

All the injured have been admitted to a local medical center, while the police have detained the security guard for interrogation.
