Three Injured In Arrow Attack In Sunabeda

Nuapada: In a shocking incident, three people were injured in a bow-and-arrow attack by a man in Jogmunda Pada village under Komna police station within the Sunabeda Sanctuary of Nuapada district.

The victims include a mother and her 10-year-old son, Santosh, who were both critically injured with arrows piercing 6 inches deep into their bodies. They were rushed to the District Headquarters hospital for treatment.

Another victim, Mangalu Paharia from Jogmunda village, was also attacked with an arrow and admitted to the Sunabeda Health Centre, where the arrow was successfully removed. The accused, Laldhar Paharia, has reportedly fled into the forest and is allegedly planning to attack another person.

The Komna police have reached Sunabeda to take control of the situation.
