Three Keonjhar Forest Officials Suspended For Dereliction Of Duty

Keonjhar: Three frontline forest officials in Keonjhar have been suspended for dereliction of duty and administrative lapses related to forest fire management and other responsibilities.

The suspended officials include Pramod Behera, Forester, who has been suspended for administrative negligence and laxity in forest fire management.

Biswaranjan Mishra, Forester, Ghatgaon, has been suspended for unauthorized absence and delay in patrolling and fire management.

Hrudananda Mohanty, Forest Guard, has been suspended for repeated absence and negligence in assessing crop damage by elephants in Patna.

The suspensions reflect the department’s efforts to address administrative issues and improve forest management in Keonjhar.
