Three Killed As MBS Bus Collides Head-On With Motorcycle In Ganjam

Berhampur: Three persons were killed in a road accident after a Mukhyamantri Bus Seva (MBS) bus collided head-on with a motorcycle in Ganjam district on Thursday evening.

The accident occurred near Patapalli Square in the Bhanjanagar area when the bus reportedly struck the two-wheeler from the front. The victims were identified as Silu Muli, Tilu Goud, and Shankar Goud, all residents of Maniakathi village.

According to initial reports, the trio was travelling from Sorada to Asurabandha when the mishap took place. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving the victims with critical injuries. They died on the spot, sources said.

Further details regarding the circumstances leading to the accident are awaited. Local authorities are expected to initiate an investigation into the incident.
