Three Killed In Bike-Bus Collision In Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Tragedy struck on Saturday evening when a speeding government bus collided with a motorcycle, killing the biker and his two pillion riders on the spot. The accident occurred on National Highway 326 near MV-7 village under Malkangiri police limits in Malkangiri district.

Reports indicate that the collision took place at a turning near the Tamasa River. After the crash, the bus ran over the motorcyclist and his companions, resulting in their instant deaths.

One of the deceased has been identified as a resident of Padmagiri in MV-86. However, the identities of the other two victims are yet to be established.

The bus driver fled the scene immediately after the accident, and Malkangiri police are investigating the incident.
